Overview Features Specifications Standard Package Optional Equipment
Rebel Internal features and benefits:

(Select a number to see a brief explaination of the feature)

Left side view:

1. Partition Baffle: (face panel) One of the most important feature of any air-cooled slide in system, but the most over looked is the Partition Baffle. The Partition Baffle is responsible in preventing the re-circulation of heated air generated by the engine & heat exchange system. All White Magic slide-ins have been designed with this feature in mind. The signature series partition baffles are connected by gasket material to the air intake of the engine housing to insure proper airflow of the machine is achieved.

2. Engine: 15 HP Kohler Air Cooled Engine, Kohler Command Pro Engines are designed with overhead -valves, exclusive hydraulic valve lifters, full pressure lubrication. All Command Pro Engines are fitted with a Plate-type oil cooler which helps maintain proper engine function.

3. Belt Guard: an aluminum safety guard, protecting the operator and machine from harm, covers the pulley & belts.

4. CAT PUMP ® 3CP Pump: Far superior from any other pump manufacturers, Cat pump delivers outstanding reliability and performance. Mounted in the machine high above all other components allows for quick and easy service of the pump. While performing service the pump does not need to be un-bolted or readjusted, all service can be done in place. This saves hours of down time and expense to the equipment owner.

5. Pulsation Dampener: This is a nitrogen charged shock absorber for the pumping system. As the ceramic plungers push water into the system, a vibration is given off. The pulsation or vibration is absorbed helping prevent premature failure of fittings and components.

6. Oil Drain valve: The signature series offers this outstanding feature only found on White Magic Equipment. The Engine, Pump, and Blower all are furnished with ¼” ball valves for quick access to oil changes. As an added benefit the oil drains are connected together in one central line and exit the machine through the face panel. (See point # 7 on the external features page) This eliminates any chance of messy oil spills during routine services.

7. Heat Exchange System: Making up the heart of the Heatsmart Technology is our double barrel heat exchanger. Constructed with the White Magic exclusive High Efficiency Finned Copper Coil, this coil is far superior to other coil designs found elsewhere in the United States. The heat exchanger is designed to maximize both airflow and heat transfer. As the water flows through the heat exchanger it enters at the coolest point and exits the heat exchanger at the hottest point. This is commonly referred to as Reverse Flow.

8. ROOTS™ 33 Blower: White Magic has selected ROOTS as our exclusive vendor for Vacuum Blowers. The Rebel is outfitted with the ROOTS 33 blower providing over 200 CFM and 14”Hg of vacuum lift. This Blower is capable of producing exceptional performance for all aspects of residential carpet & upholstery cleaning. The dual lobe blower design is far superior and more reliable to the new tri-lobe blower designs available in the cleaning industry. White Magic provides many additional features to the blower system such as: Blower oil level site tube, remote grease fittings for ease of maintenance & the White Magic exclusive grease cup, which captures expelled grease and prevents it from spilling all over the internal components of the machine.

9. Frame Assembly: Constructed from heavy gauge steel, the frame also provides easy lifting with its built in fork lift pads.

10. Progressive Silencing System: White Magic engineers have worked tirelessly to maximize performance without restricting airflow. The Progressive Silencing system works by stepping down the noise generated by the carpet cleaning system at specific locations throughout the machine. Illustrated in this photo is the last stage of the silencing system.

Right side view:

11. Vacuum Pod Diverter Control: As the temperature reaches its predetermined setting established by the operator, the Temperature Sensor sends an electrical signal to the vacuum control vacuum switches (18) which activates the Vacuum Pod (11) to open and close the Heat Diverter (13). to maintain the desired operating solution temperatures.

12. Chemical Injection Pump: This pump operates with out the use of a diaphragm spring, which add to the longevity of the pump. The Chemical is injected at the final stage of the pumping system. This eliminates chemical residue build-up within the pumping system, heat exchange system and system controls. Made completely out of stainless steel with a high pressure O’ ring, this pump will resist corrosion and damage caused by high pressure tile cleaning, better then similar pumps made out of brass.

13. Engine Exhaust Heat Diverter: This component operates by directing the flow of hot gases produced by the engine. During operation of the machine the heat generated by the engines exhaust will flow the heat exchange system to heat the cleaning solution. Once the cleaning solution has reached the pre-determined temperature set by the operator the temperature sensor (25) will activate the vacuum diverter control (11) closing the Exhaust Diverter preventing the hot gases from entering the heat exchange systems. The Heat Diverters internal components are made from Stainless Steel and are nickel-plated to extended the life of the diverter.

14. Stainless Steel Braided Hoses: White Magic uses only Stainless Steel high-pressure hoses to interconnect the systems solution and pumping system.

15. Water Mix Valve: This convenient feature allows for further temperature adjustment for sensitive fabric cleaning such as; wool oriental carpets or Haitian cotton upholstery etc… By opening this valve it allows cold water from the pump to bypass the Heat Exchange System and go directly to the cleaning tool.

16. Temperature Gauge Sending Unit: Located just behind the solution disconnects away from any of the heat exchanger components, this sending unit reads the out going solution temperature and displays the temperature on the temperature gauge

17. Primary System Kill Switch: This is the primary engine kill switch interrupts the engine electrical system and shuts down the machine if the solution temperature reaches the factory setting of 285°F. It can be adjusted by a service technician if necessary. If this occurs the operator can quickly determine the cause or the shut down by looking at the indicator lights on the face panel of the machine.

18. Vacuum Pod Control Switch: Refer to # 11

19. Engine Oil Filter: The design of the machine allows for easy changing of the Oil Filter.

20. High Pressure Fuel Safety Valve: This Valve protects the engine fuel system from forcing fuel back from the vehicles fuel system.

21. Pressure Reducer: Located on the input of the water box the pressure reducer assures that the input water pressure is consistent, for extra protection of the internal float valve.

22. Water Box: Constructed from Stainless Steel, the water box provides the incoming water to the pump. The box can contain a max. of 2 gallons of water and a host of other features. The water box has 4 easy to remove thumbscrews that hold down the gasket material cover, preventing water from spill over on to the machine. The water box also has overflow protection, filtered input and allows for simple winterization of the machine in cold weather climates.

23. Secondary Safety Kill Switch: This safety feature protects the operator, bystanders and the machine from dangerous overheating of the systems water temperature rating. This Safety Kill Switch will shut the machines engine down if the solution temperature exceeds 275°F.

24. Pressure Relief Valve: This valve is factory set to prevent over pressurization of the machine. When the machine reaches it’s setting the valve opens to relieve access pressure developed by the pumping system. This valve allows the operator to adjust the pressure up to 1200 PSI for tile and grout cleaning.

25. Temperature Sensor: Located at the hottest point of the heat exchanger, this sensors function is to control the heat diverter system. When the operator adjusts the temperature knob located on the face panel of the machine it controls the sensitivity of this sending unit, providing the desired temperature to the cleaning tool.
